Glorifying God
We believe that it is our responsibility to glorify God and our Savior Jesus Christ. God should be honored because we are created by Him, but we glorify Christ because He sacrificed His life for our sins. We accomplish this with music that focuses our mind on what the Lord has done for us, messages that explain our relationship with God, and Bible Studies that help us learn how to give God first place in our lives. (Ephesians 4:22-24)
Strengthening One Another
We know that reaching the lost of our community and spiritual growth will take a high level of committment. Thats why we encourage one another to give ourselves away in ministry to others through worship, encouragement, prayer, and ministry to needs. Teaching the truths of Scripture in relevant ways through preaching, discipleship, counseling, and small groups is also a focus. This strong teaching gives us the solid foundation, and Godly motivation necessary to give ourselves away (II Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 10:24-25).
Reaching the Community of Craigieburn
We are excited that God has called us to minister in the growing community of Craigeieburn. We desire to reach those around Cornerstone by ministering to their physical needs with volunteering and outreaches, their emotional needs with relationships that show the Love of Christ, and the spiritual needs with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:20-24)
